Rooms
The Sherman House is a private guesthouse.You will not
share the building with another party unless you come
together! The two bedrooms are both upstairs and the
two bathrooms (one full with a vintage claw foot
tub/shower, the other a half bath) are both downstairs.
You also have access to the inviting “Blue Room” lounge
(with two sofas which make into beds for extra sleeping),
the large dining room for up to 16, and a spacious wrap-
around porch. No smoking or pets inside.
The Prairie Flower Room
An elegant, cozy room for two. The wild
flower and grape vine accents and the
colorful floral bedding, along with the bent
hickory rockers make this room feel like
springtime in the country. The queen size
bed under the skylights gives you a view
or the stars, and maybe even a full moon!
Air conditioned.
The Bunk House Room
A large, rustic room for families or a group
of friends - up to six. The Bunk House has
the flavor of the wild west with its sycamore
pole beds - one queen and up to four singles.
Also featuring a kid-sized “tack room”
complete with a small bunk, miniature pot
bellied stove, small saddle, and a lantern
light. There’s even a teepee big enough for
several small braves to sleep in. The two
skylights, silk trees, and campfire nightlight
will almost make you think you’re sleeping
out on the open range. Also included in the
Bunk House are games, VCR and family
videos. Air conditioned.
